A message from our CEO

Happy New Year, and welcome to 2026. I hope each of you enjoyed a safe and restful holiday period.

As we start the year, I want to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who contributed feedback through our recent survey. Your insights were central to the strategic planning workshop we held with the Board at the end of 2025. The honesty, care, and commitment reflected in your responses helped shape an incredibly productive session and are already informing the decisions we will take forward.

Our next steps include a series of follow‑up strategic sessions with our Senior Leadership Team, our Lived Experience Team, and our Consumer Advisory Panel. These conversations will allow us to refine the final details of our strategic direction, ensuring it reflects the priorities, realities and aspirations of our organisation. I look forward to sharing more with you as this work progresses.

A clear message has come through from all the feedback: the work we do matters profoundly, and our clients must remain at the heart of everything we do. That clarity is both grounding and energising as we move into this next phase.

In parallel, we are continuing to strengthen our financial foundations. The Executive Team has developed a sustainability plan, and we have already begun implementing a number of key actions. These initiatives will be approached in a considered, proactive and responsible way with some changes delivered now and others that will take time to fully realise their benefits. Our goal is to position estara for long‑term stability, align our operations with our emerging strategic plan, and ensure we remain well placed to deliver high‑quality, streamlined services for our clients, while continuing to support and invest in our people.

Thank you for everything you do, every day. I am genuinely optimistic about the year ahead and confident that, together, we will continue to build an organisation that is sustainable, client‑centred, and a place we are proud to be a part of.
