Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Week 2025

As the peak body for Spinal Cord Injury in South Australia we’re pleased to be taking part in this year’s international Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Awareness Week and Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Day (Friday 5 September). This year’s theme is "Fall Prevention, Spinal Cord Protection’’ and we’ll be marking it with a range of events designed for our SCI community, staff and our partners.

estara has been supporting, and advocating for, people with SCI since we were started by a group of volunteers back in 1963. From our SCI Peer Support Mentor Program to our specialist Spinal Nurses, Driver Trained OTs and Physios we are here to build, and connect, community around SCI and support people with SCI to live their lives independently and with choice.

We’d love you to join us in this important week.
